Maleic anhydride production method
May 03, 2018

From benzene by catalytic oxidation, or from butene or butane by air oxidation and prepared.
(1) Benzene Oxidation: Vanadium molybdenum oxide is used as a catalyst, air and benzene vapor are mixed to carry out oxidation reaction to produce maleic anhydride, and the reaction heat of the tube reactor is used to withdraw molten salt and produce byproduct steam, and the product is obtained after cooling.
(2) Butane oxidation method: It can be divided into two methods: fixed bed fluidized bed. The catalyst is vanadium phosphine oxygen, vanadium molybdenum oxygen, molybdenum phosphorus oxygen system.
