It is easier to vaporize at lower temperature (60-80°C), soluble in alcohol, ether and acetone, easily deliquescent with water to produce maleic acid
use
Mainly used for the production of unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, pesticide malathion, high efficiency and low toxicity pesticide 4049, long-term iodide raw materials. It is also a co-monomer of coating, maleic rosin, polymaleic anhydride, and maleic anhydride-styrene copolymers. It is also an organic chemical raw material for the production of ink additives, paper additives, plasticizers, tartaric acid, fumaric acid, and tetrahydrofuran. .
