According to the announcement, the Ministry of Commerce received PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical Company, Changchun Chemical (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Xisang Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Sinopec Mitsui Chemicals Co., Ltd., China on February 2, 2018. Bluestar Harbin Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Shiyou Chemical (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd. and Huizhou Zhongxin Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the applicant) represent the official anti-dumping investigation application filed by the domestic phenol industry. The applicant requested that it be originated in the United States, the European Union, and South Korea. , Japan and Thailand imported phenol for anti-dumping investigations.
According to the relevant regulations, the Ministry of Commerce decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against imported phenol originating in the aforementioned countries from March 26, 2018. The dumping investigation period was from October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2017. The industrial damage investigation period was from January 1, 2014 to September 30, 2017.
According to the announcement, the survey began on March 26, 2018 and should normally be completed by March 26, 2019. In special circumstances, it may be extended to September 26, 2019.
